Profile of Responsibilities:
The Structure Contribution Strategist (m/f/d) is responsible for driving the strategic initiatives in the area of interest rate analysis and supporting management to make informed decisions to achieve additional structure contribution. This role requires a profound understanding of macroeconomic trends, capital markets as well as the developments in the banking sector, coupled with a passion for managing uncertainties.
- Global Interest Rate Reviews:
Conduct thorough reviews of interest rates curves across all major markets globally of the company, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of worldwide trends and triggers - Analysis and Forecast:
Analyze and forecast interest rate fluctuations, simulating various scenarios to predict potential market movements and their implications on our clients’ structure contribution/performance. Align these forecasts with the company’s financial goals and objectives - Management Decision Proposal:
Prepare and present decision proposals for management, outlining the interest risk positioning of our clients’ entities with a balanced view on risks and rewards, facilitating informed decision-making, enabling structure contribution - Collaboration with Market Risk:
Work in close alignment with market risk specialists to effectively manage interest rate exposure development, ensuring proactive strategies are in place to navigate market volatility - Technology Integration:
Leverage and introduce new advanced analytics and financial modelling tools to improve interest rate analyses and reporting capabilities - Communication relationship:
Close cooperation with Finance & Controlling teams (e.g. Credit Risk, ALM, Accounting, Corporate Controlling), with the headquarters (e.g. Treasury department) and the
CFOs (Markets)
Candidate Profile:
- University degree in finance, economics, business or related field
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience in the Financial Services/ Banking/ Automotive finance industry; finance and controlling background
- Strong understanding of interest rate products, including bonds, swaps, and other derivatives
- Proficiency and experience in financial analysis and forecasting models
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools and platforms
(e.g. Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, Bloomberg, Reuters) is an advantage - Strong communication skills and team orientation
- Cross-cultural experience, collaboration with global teams
- Strong written and oral English skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- High level of integrity and compliance with a professional attitude
